Have you ever come across a situation where you have developed something that worked but after a while it broke? I did... a few times actually... especially during my early years with SQL Server. SSIS is not an exception, it is very powerful tool but has its dark side and unless you know what it is; it might be difficult to spot a problem until your package fails or "misbehaves".

  • What should you do to avoid "no match" when there is a match.

  • I tell you case sensitive and I tell you case insensitive. SSIS "split personality"

  • Are sales dropped by 10% comparing to previous year.... but wait my SSIS Developer says SSIS misbehaved and we actually made 20% more!

  • Boss I cannot do anything about it; this is complex and SSIS is very slow.
